After starting in politics at just 6 years old, Evan has spent years helping run candidates and campaigns at every level of the ballot.
Since becoming State Chair in 2021, he has grown the organization’s fundraising from $40,000 to more than $100,000, including during his first year as chair. He also built a volunteer communications team that now earns regular media coverage and statewide attention. In 2020, he organized the addition of 21 new county parties in Indiana before becoming chair. Many of those counties have since outperformed Democrats in candidate recruitment and have become some of the strongest-performing counties in the state.
Under his leadership, Indiana rose from #13 to #8 nationally in membership. He played a role in major campaigns including Donald Rainwater’s 2020 gubernatorial run and Rupert Boneham’s 2012 governor campaign. He has also helped support record-setting campaigns in multiple states. He built a custom CRM system to improve communication with donors, volunteers, and campaign operations. The workflows and systems he developed have since been used as a blueprint by other state parties.
730,000 registered Libertarians across the country.
Only 9,000 members.
Only 6,000 actively involved. That gap is our opportunity.
In the early 2000s, we had 33,000 members and brought in $3.3 million a year. Today, we’re under $1 million. We do not have a voter problem.
We have an engagement problem. If we start meeting voters where they are, talking about the issues they actually care about, and turning supporters into active members, we can change the future of this movement.
The goal by the 2028 convention:
60,000 active, dues-paying members.
$4 million a year.
The numbers tell the story.
Early 2000s:
$3.3 million raised annually
Today:
Less than $1 million a year
Meanwhile, there are 730,000 registered Libertarians nationwide.
What’s missing is consistent outreach, engagement, and investment in growth.
Imagine where this party could be by 2028 with 60,000 active dues-paying members and $4 million a year powering candidates, organizing, communications, and ballot access nationwide.
